Privacy & Cookie Policy

This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how NeuroTurkey (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit turkneurohealth.com (the “Website”) or contact us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Turkish data protection law (KVKK).

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

The data controller responsible for your personal data is NeuroTurkey.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, country, the neurological condition you are enquiring about, and any details you include about your medical situation.

Our Website provides a consultation request form (full name, country, e-mail, phone/WhatsApp, neurological condition and an optional message). When you submit it, the information is sent securely, via our hosting provider Amazon Web Services (AWS), to our team’s e-mail inbox so we can respond to your enquiry. We only ask for what we need; the message field is optional.

2.2 Information collected automatically

If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect limited technical and usage data through Google Analytics 4 — such as pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP, which Google truncates), device and browser type, and how you interact with the Website. Without your consent, analytics cookies are not set.

3. Cookies & analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

We use Google Consent Mode: analytics storage is denied by default until you accept. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this Website, which will make the cookie banner appear again.

4. How we use your information

5. Legal bases (GDPR)

Health data. Information about your health is a special category of personal data under GDPR Article 9. We process it only where you have given explicit consent, for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and facilitating treatment coordination.

6. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Website and our service:

7. International data transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence (for example by Google and AWS). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Enquiry correspondence is retained for [retention period to be completed]; analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ configured retention settings.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at meliksah@turkneurohealth.com.

10. Data security

The Website is served over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Children

The Website is not directed at children. Where we coordinate care for a minor, we do so on the basis of a parent’s or guardian’s instructions and consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
